Our educational philosophy states that "the power of individuality is limitless,"
and we work hard to provide guidance enabling the individuality of every single student to shine.
At KAISHI GAKUEN, students can choose favorite subjects and areas of interest
within their selected fields (a new way to experience education),
enabling them to acquire specialized knowledge and technological understanding.

Friday each week is a Free Day, during which students proactively improve their own individual capacities. On Free Day, we conduct various activities within the various selected fields, allowing students to actively participate in achieving their own goals more quickly.

Students select the options that interest them from 9 selected fields (elective courses), study these as school classes, and receive credit for them. At KAISHI GAKUEN, we cultivate students’ talents from a young age, enabling them to acquire specialized knowledge and technological understanding.

KAISHI GAKUEN is backed up by the NSG COLLEGE LEAGUE, one of Japan’s largest-scale vocational school groups, as well as universities, preparatory schools, all kinds of sports groups such as ALBIREX NIIGATA , and more. Support from these groups is based around the ‘selected fields’ concept, enabling students to acquire a high level of specialized knowledge and technological understanding.

At KAISHI GAKUEN, the academic year is divided into 2 semesters: first semester (April to Sept.) and second semester (Oct. to March), with academic credit awarded for each semester. Since students gain credit over shorter academic periods, they gain clarity of vision for tackling and excelling at each and every subject.

At KAISHI GAKUEN, we offer “life studies,” which is part of the nationally established high school “human studies” ethics curriculum. We also utilize comprehensive study time to offer courses on career studies, spiritual and cultural studies, cross-cultural understanding, and much more, as well as proactively seeking to involve students in learning about the “power of living” as humans.
